The Sakina Center is a one-of-a-kind cyber-counseling service founded on the Islamic principles of humanity and understanding. We provide moral and spiritual support for Muslims (and anyone needing help) in all circumstances. Our counselors are trained in the areas of counseling, social work, and psychology at the professional level. The Sakina Center takes a unique approach in using Facebook as a counseling tool to carry out this social service. We mainly counsel Muslims on all matters as they face many difficulties in today’s world ranging from anxiety to Islamophobia. Our target focus is Muslim youth residing in Western, non-Muslim countries where these services are lacking, however we welcome people from all walks of life who require counseling.

Our counseling services are only usable via Facebook and so you will need to create a free account on Facebook if you do not already have one.

If you are in need of counseling, you can contact our counselors by adding them to your Facebook account.

Once you have added them you can contact them either Messaging or Chat when they are available. The Chat feature may malfunction at times, in which case, messaging is the best method to use.

The Sakina Center is a secure place where your identity and counseling will remain private and undisclosed. It is important that you are honest and clear about your situation so that our counselors can provide the best possible help. Every problem will be different, some may take more time than others and we expect you to follow the advice of our counselors and work for a positive change. Our counselors seek to help you deal with your challenges and overcome them.
